Former England midfielder Joe Cole wants to see Kobbie Mainoo stay at Manchester United but admits he is concerned the club could decide to sell him to raise cash.

The 19-year-old was one of the most impressive performers in the second half of last season but has been less influential this term due to overlapping roles with Bruno Fernandes, and while he has been link with a move away from the club, Cole believes Mainoo should remain at the club, although he admits there are concerns the Red Devils will be willing to sell for the full amount.
“At the moment, the best position for เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง Mainoo is where Bruno Fernandes plays, which is No 8 or No 10, which is unfortunate for Mainoo – Bruno is the best player at the club and the captain,” Cole said.
“Mainoo’s ability to play in multiple positions doesn’t affect his development. It helps him, especially as a young player. He will get better as he gets older, but above all he wants to be in a team that plays possession.”
“He’s a great footballer with great technique, but the only concern I have about him that could hinder his development is if Manchester United have to sell him because of financial regulations.”
“It seems like selling academy players is popular because you get paid in full. From what I understand, Manchester United might be willing to let go of Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho because they have to balance their finances in the summer, which is not good for Mainoo.”
“He should stay at Manchester United and play, especially as a kid from Manchester. I have no problem with him playing in different positions. I think he will end up as a number eight or number 10, but he is a great player.”
